We are excited to be a part of this evening sharing the stage with 3 additional experts from Loudoun’s craft beverage industry. This is a great evening to come and learn more about what is happening in the craft beverage industry not just here but in the industry as a whole.
The event will kick off with the panel discussing the craft beer field. The discussion will focus on the beer production process from plant to pint. Kellie, Hinkle, Agriculture Development Officer for Loudoun Economic Development will moderate the panel’s discussion. Afterwards, you are invited to stay for the screening of “CRAFT” the movie.
Jasper Akerboom: An experienced microbiologist and brewing scientist, Jasper consults with local brew master on yeast strains for commercial brewing processes.
Josh Chapman: The co-founder and head brewer of Black Narrows Brewing CO. Josh uses his culinary background to offer a unique perspective on brewing, both as an art and a science.
Janell Zurschmeide: Our very own! Janell is not only an owner at Dirt Farm but is also a co-chair of the Farm Brewery Committee of the Virginia Craft Brewers Guild.
Sten Sellier: Found and president of Beltway Brewing Company, a contract brewery in Sterling. Sten helps start-ups and growing breweries expand their operations.
