Gingerbread House Showdown
Kick off the holiday season with some sweet competition at our Gingerbread House Showdown at Dirt Farm Brewing!
Gather your crew, unleash your creativity, and join us in the taproom for some festive fun as you design the ultimate gingerbread masterpiece.
Each team will receive a bare gingerbread house, plenty of icing “glue” to bring your vision to life and a little bit of candy to get you started. All you need to bring are the candy decorations and accessories that best fit the vibe of your dream house – whether that’s classic and cozy, wild and whimsical, or downright over-the-top!
Gingerbread House Showdown decorating sessions are Thursday, December 4, or Friday, December 5! You can come anytime during Taproom hours from 12-8pm to complete your creation and you will have three hours MAX to work on your house.
After all houses are completed, we’ll photograph and upload them to our social media on Friday evening for a public vote! Rally your friends, bribe your family, and earn those votes. The winning team will be announced on Sunday evening for a chance to win over $100 worth of gift cards from our family businesses: Dirt Farm Brewing, Bluemont Vineyard, Henway Hard Cider and Great Country Farms!
Sign up now to reserve your house! Each ticket includes one gingerbread house, icing and a limited amount of candy for decorating. Come solo or grab your gang – groups of up to four folks are welcome per house.
✨ Participants must bring their own candy and additional decorations for their gingerbread house – get creative, y’all!
Tickets are $40 per gingerbread house and all participants receive 25% off their beers during their visit. Space is very limited – please choose which time slot you would like to join us for when purchasing your ticket! After your house is complete, we’ll just snap a picture for the showdown and then the house is all yours!
