Join us for Burning Tree at Dirt Farm Brewing – An experience like no other!

Christmas is over…now let’s light it up! We’ll be burning Christmas trees all day long, so come warm your hands (and your soul) by the fire while sipping on your favorite beer.

Enjoy the crackle of the flames, the smell of pine in the air, and a lineup of Dirt Farm beers and holiday beverages to keep you toasty. Whether you’re saying goodbye to the holidays or just looking for an excuse to hang out by a roaring fire with friends, Burning Tree is the perfect way to start the new year, Dirt Farm style.

Our friends over at the Round Hill Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department will be on site during the whole event to keep us (and our mountain) safe! They’ll be set up with a tent sharing information about their work and collecting donations, so swing by, learn more, and show your support with a dollar or two for this vital community organization that we love so much!

Want to recycle your Christmas Tree?

We’ve got two options for Christmas Tree recycling at this event! You can either bring your tree up the mountain and we will recycle it on our family farm here at Dirt Farm, or you can drop it off directly to Great Country Farms!

Great Country Farms is collecting Christmas Trees for a recycling program! Old Christmas trees can be used on the farm for so many amazing purposes from livestock feed, mulch and soil health, soil conservation and compost!

Before you bring your tree to the farm, please make sure your tree is chemical free (no trees treated with fire retardant or other sprays) and all decorations are removed (including ornaments, lights, garland, hooks and tinsel!)

Great Country Farms will be collecting trees from December 26 – January 19 – Friday-Monday from 9am-4pm! Drop off is easy – follow the signs in the parking lot at Great Country Farms in front of the Farm Market & Bakery. Place your tree in a recycling crate, and the GCF team will do the rest! Learn More HERE!

Weather Notice:
For everyone’s safety, if high winds are in the forecast, the tree burning will be weather pending.

Whether you’re coming out from Washington D.C., Alexandria, Arlington, or Baltimore, or you’re just cruising over from Round Hill, Purcellville, Clarke County, or Winchester, we’re always glad to welcome friendly faces here in Bluemont! Our community stretches across the region, and nothing makes us happier than sharing good beer, good food, and even better company with all of you right here in Loudoun County, Virginia!
