Hiking & Biking
NEW Dirt Farm Brewing's Hiking Trail
Founded in 2024
Come explore our 3.5-mile wooded trail loop through the Blue Ridge Mountains at Dirt Farm Brewing!
Few things go together better than a good hike followed by a homegrown beer, so we’ve made it easy for you to do both! Nestled right here on our family farm in Western Loudoun County, you can take to the trails for a hike, leisurely stroll, or a run, with biking trails coming later this year!

Trail Information
To get to the trailhead, head on up to Dirt Farm Brewing at 18701 Foggy Bottom Road, Bluemont, Virginia 20135.
- Head to the south end of the parking lot! Feel free to come on in and ask our staff for directions.
- The main loop is 3.5 miles long with a 400ft elevation change.
- The trail will open when the business opens and will close one hour before the business closes.
- Please, no visitors before or after hours.
- No outside food, drinks, or alcohol.
- Friendly dogs are welcome and must remain on a leash at all times.
With this new endeavor, our hope is that our customers can take advantage of this wooded trail which is exclusively open during business hours.
This trail will be maintained by our farmhands and we know it will be utilized by many! We’d love your support during this time to make these trails a success. There are a couple of ways to help:
- Grab a bite from the Kitchen Workshop or enjoy a pint on the patio once you’ve finished your hike! Your continued support of our family business allows us to continue expanding our offerings, such as the new trails! Can’t stay? Grab some beer to take home with you!
- Scan the QR code at the trailhead to donate towards trail maintenance. This is a private trail, your donations will help preserve the trail.
Some things to keep in mind when enjoying the trail:
- Stay On The Trail: To ensure the safety of our guests, we ask that you stay on the marked trail. We have over 800 acres of land, and remaining on the trail at all times will ensure that you do not get lost during your visit.
- Come Prepared: Please make sure you come prepared with whatever you need to make your experience comfortable! We recommend close toed shoes (the terrain is uneven in areas) and plenty of water!
- Be Aware Of Your Surroundings: This helps keep you and your group safe. Although this trail is maintained, there is wildlife that lives in this neck of the woods.
- Leave No Trace: Easy as that! Please take out what you bring in - trash cans and restrooms can be found in our taproom.
Our trail is officially open and we hope that our customers will come on out and enjoy a nice walk through the woods! The trail will open during our posted business hours and will close one hour prior to Dirt Farm closing, so please plan your visit accordingly.
We are excited to announce that, while the trails are exclusively open for foot traffic at the time being, we are working towards this being a multi-use trail with Mountain Biking coming soon!
