Time to Get Cheesy on the Mountain at Dirt Farm Brewing | September 30, 2023
It ain’t easy bein’ cheesy y’all, but we’re making it a little bit easier for you because it’s CHEESE FEST!
There will be local farmers selling their dang good, super fresh (and maybe a little stinky) cheeses!
Harvue Cheese is a family run dairy farm in Clarke County, Va. They’ve been in the dairy industry since 1949, but they started to venture out to the cheese biz a few years back. Family owned, locally produced, high quality cheese made with milk from the happy cows at Harvue Farm!
Shepherd’s Whey Creamery is a family owned farm, dairy, and creamery in the eastern panhandle of West Virginia. They specialize in minimally-processed goat’s milk, goat’s milk cheese, and delicious yogurt cultured goat’s milk smoothies and Goatgurt (their version of spoon-able yogurt). Since 2003 their family has been raising goats and producing goat-dairy products with the utmost devotion and care in hopes that their community and planet might benefit from wholesome food and a simple lifestyle.
If you don’t like cheese but you’re still ready to party, the folks from Blue Ridge Pickling will be on site with allll the pickles! They believe in providing delicious, unique, local products that bring people together. They strive to bring a sense of community through their products, one jar at a time.

The Kitchen Workshop will be bringing their cheesiest offerings to the table for this special event! Enjoy chowing down on multiple fully loaded cheese specials including our cheesiest flatbread yet! Check out what’s currently on tap, HERE!
We carry Firehook crackers (the BEST!) in the taproom, so grab a block of cheese from one of the vendors, grab some pickles, grab a box of crackers and enjoy!
