Wild On Your Door Holiday Wreath Workshop
Join us for a seasonal design session at Dirt Farm Brewing where you will create your very own holiday wreath with Walking Wind Farm and Florist!
Step back into a time when holiday décor was gathered from the woods and the winter garden. Join us for an immersive workshop dedicated to the art of the traditional, textured wreath. Moving away from the commercial look of the modern holiday, we will focus on the rich diversity of “The Winter Field” – utilizing layered evergreens, architectural dried elements, and the “saved” treasures of late autumn.
What You’ll Explore:
The Power of Texture: Learn to layer multiple varieties of cedar, pine, and fir for a lush, professional-grade base.
The Dried Garden: Integrating natural elements like seed pods, dried citrus, red chilis and flowers for a modern take on the “Nature-First” aesthetic.
Organic Mechanics: Mastering the traditional wire-wrap technique to ensure your wreath stays fresh and secure through the season.
Historical Design: How to create a balanced, asymmetrical, or classic circular design that honors the natural movement of the branches.
